Aurora Goosalinda Porch Goose Beaded Earrings with Fringe

Meet Aurora Goosalinda, my porch goose. In this lovely pair of earrings, she is depicted in her natural outdoor habitat, with a clear blue sky and verdant grass under-webbed-foot. 

The beads used are size 15/0 Miyuki rocaille glass seed beads. Using size 15/0 means the earrings are not as bulky as the typical size 11/0 seed beads found in most beaded earrings on the market today. Using a smaller bead size allows for a lighter-weight piece without sacrificing any of the gorgeous details in the patterns I create. My beaded earrings with fringe are usually 1.25 inches wide, with a variety of lengths. Aurora Goosalinda is 2.75 inches long. 

Caring for Your Beaded Jewelry

1. Avoid getting beaded jewelry wet and avoid exposing it to heat.
2. For beaded jewelry with fringe, it is best to hang your pieces. This allows the fringe to dangle, holding its shape easily.
3. The findings on beaded jewelry will oxidize over time, so use a polishing cloth when you notice any discoloration. It is completely natural for most metals used for jewelry-making to oxidize with the exception of solid gold. 
4. For hook-style ear wires, be sure to use the silicone backs that come with your earrings.
